I'm back! After some much needed time off to spend with family for the holidays, it's time to get back at it.
2024 was the first year where I really put some solid effort into reading more, and I think I ended up doing a pretty good job.
My goal for the year was 25 books. I ended the year (on the 31st) at 34 by finishing Mistborn. Here is everything that I read in 2024, in the order that I read them:

What Are My Top 5?
I've learned throughout the year that I am a huge fan of the High Fantasy/Dark Fantasy genres.
Half a King (I still think about this story often. It was so great.)
Godkiller
Sunbringer
Mistborn
Never Die
What's the Reading Goal for 2025?
I'm going to set a goal for slightly higher than last year, but not too high because some of the books on my TBR are quite long. We'll try to do 30 for 2025.
I'm already on my way. It's January 6th and I'm already done with my first book, Old Bones, by Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child. I think I'm going to try to get through their entire library this year. I don't have much left.
Merry Christmas To Me
Thanks largely in part to my In-Laws for the Cabela's Gift Cards, I was able to get my dream gun. One that I've wanted since I saw Goldeneye as a kid. James Bond Movies have been a big part of my life for s very long time. I recently started reading the books and my love of Mr. Bond has grown even more.
I'm sure you can see where this is going. The Walther PPK is now a gun that I can call mine. Just look at it. It's such a good looking gun. I haven't fired it yet but I can't wait.
Alright. Promise it won't be so long next time.
